Abstract

215,602. Pawlik, F. June 5, 1923. Buoyancy motors.-A vapour engine comprises bucket chains 17 immersed in liquid in a vessel 2, this liquid being maintained at a temperature suffice to volatilize ethyl chloride or other volatile liquid by means of a heater 21. The ethyl chloride &c. passes through a nozzle 15, drives the bucket chains, and passes to a condenser comprising a pipe 9 provided with a fan 8, and a tube 5 connected by curved pipes 6 to a collecting vessel 7, the condensed liquid being returned to the nozzle.
