Abstract
284,432. British Brass Fittings, Ltd., and Sperryn, G. N. Dec. 4, 1926. Fusible cui-outs; two-part couplings.-A bridge carrier fuse has each pair of contacts formed as a metal block c having grooves g and co-operating with a pair of resilient limbs t with transverse ribs u or inturned ends that engage in the grooves g. Each block c has a pair of intersecting passages j, k in either of which a wire can be gripped by an oblique screw h, Fig. 3. The blocks c are located in compartments separated by walls b from a central recess into which projects an extension p of the bridge carrier, pegs q on the extension entering holes r in the base to position the carrier. The fuse wire passes through an asbestos tube y in the extension p.
