[Class 38 (i).] The sockets housed in recesses at each end of a fuse-carrier c, for engaging contact.pins b projecting from a base-board a, are each split longitudinally into two parts d which are wired together by bowed blade springs e shaped at f to engage over the ends of the socket parts and at g to engage hollowed parts of the recess to retain the parts d in position. The fuse wires are secured by screws to the sockets and extend through longitudinal asbestos or like tubes secured in the carrier body.
