Abstract

283,470. Stoces, B. Jan. 9, 1928 !A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect, 91 of the Acts, Jan. 9, 1928]. Air, moistening-In cooling air by drying and moistening, the heat of reaction developed during drying by contact with calcium chloride is reduced by forcing the air through the apparatus at a high velocity-upwards of 6 metres per second. The moistening is effected by passage through wetted threads, tissues, wicks, metallic spirals woven with asbestos, wood wool &c. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 19814/02, [Class 34, Drying].
