Abstract
283,443. Etablissements Motte- Dewavrin Soc. Anon. June 2, 1927, [Convention date]. Rollers and roller heads.-In a spinning or like machine having top rollers comprising loose bosses 1, Fig. 1, mounted on self-aligning bearings 4, the rollers are guided to limit their oscillations to displacements in the common plane of the axis of the shaft 2 and that of the bottom rollers. A coaxial sleeve 5 is mounted within each boss 1 by a rigid ball-bearing 6 and is formed with guiding notches or grooves 7 engaging a tongue 8, Fig. 2, in the shaft head 3, which latter is set in the usual guide in the machine frame, Fig. 3.
