282,164. Carpmael, W., (I. G. Farbenin. dustrie Akt.-Ges.). Sept. 17, 1926. Fats and fatty oils, extracting by solvents.- Raw sheep's wool is degreased by the methyl, ethyl, or other organic ester of carbonic acid, alone or mixed with one or more other usual solvents. Residual solvent is removed by washing the wool with water, and is recovered by extraction with dichlorbenzene or other liquid and distillation.
