Abstract

281,418. Pochin, F. H., Fochin, H. S., Dove, G. H., and Gent, A. S. Sept. 17, 1926. Lock stitching by hooks.-The bobbin 16 is secured within the loop taker 5 by a bridge-piece 12 which engages beneath a flange 9 on a rim 8. The bridge-piece is inserted through slots 11 in the flange, being pressed inwards against a spring 15 located in a hollowed stem 13, and is then rotated into securing position. The bobbin is held against the bottom of its recess by a spring 18 secured on the underside of the bridge piece, this also serving to guide the thread which passes through openings 20, 21, 22.
