[Class 43] A button 1 is provided with a square or other shaped apertured projection 2 on its lower surface so that, when being guided to the sewing-on place in a button-sewing machine, it does not turn relatively to the guide device, and, during sewing, it is retained by the projection with the apertures 3 in correct position to be engaged by the needle of the machine.
