Tyre attachments to rims. - To prevent displacement of the tyre edges, a rubber &c. band 7 having one or more enlarged sections 8 is fitted in the recess of a rim 1 of the concentric wellbase type. The thickened portions 8 may have metal reinforcements 9 and are preferably arranged to balance the valve fitment including a blocking-wedge 12 secured to the air-tube 6 at this position.
