Atmospheric gas burners.-The tubes 7 of the burners of a gas fire mav be removable by lifting, the lower part of the burners being provided, in the construction shown, with extensions for receiving them. The bentover upper ends of the tubes are adjacent to the heat-retaining cover 16 of the stove, or extend into grooves 19 in it in order to heat the mixture. The burners shown each support a pair of inverted mantles and may be provided with perforated diaphragms 13<x>, Fig. 8, at, or at suitable distances from, the ends of the nozzles 13<11>, and above the point where the nozzles branch from the central part 13<1>.
