280,732. Macintosh, C. A. G. Dec. 22, 1926. Thermometers. - In an anti. septic case for a clinical thermometer &c., of the kind comprising an outer case A and an inner receptacle C containing sterilizing medium, the case A is provided with an inner tubular part a<2> to prevent escape of the antiseptic when the thermometer is withdrawn, and the receptacle C is held between rubber washers D, D<1>, the washer D<1> being contained within the screw cap a<4>. The outer case is provided with an internal partition a<3> against which the washer D bears. The thermometer B is carried by a plug b which screws into the upper end of the tube a<2>. The case A is provided with inspection apertures around the receptacle C, and with a pocket clip a.
