Laminated springs. - An attachable device having three spaced contact points the middle one opposing the other two and adapted to clamp the leaves together to reduce oscillation, is so constructed and applied that the friction lessens as the deflection increases and conversely increases on the rebound. The yoke piece a straddles the spring and the upper transverse parts engage the master leaf through rollers d of circular or other section. The lower middle parts of the yoke end in screwed stems g carrying a bridge piece h through which is screwed a bolt having a reduced end c intended to bite into the spring and hold the fitting in position. The bridge piece h may be rigid or slightly elastic.
