Abstract

280,349. Rogers, W. H. Oct. 25, 1926. Coinposition fuel.-Petroleum is sprinkled over road sweepings or other waste materials in the proportion of ¢ pint to 1 cwt. and the thoroughly mixed mass is moistened with water. Or i cwt. of ashes, saw mill sweepings, waste sawdust, spent hops or a mixture of these may be employed with ¢ cwt. of road sweepings and ¢ pint of petroleum. Crude benzole or other inflammabie material may be substituted for the petroleum and a binder such as clay may be incorporated and the mass compressed into lumps or briquettes. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 27334/10, 105,340, 158,671, and 230,252.
