Printing-apparatus. - A printing frame comprises a stationary base 10, Fig. 2, having an openwork top and to which is hinged a framed glass plate 21. A flexible sheet 15, Fig. 5, having a resilient border 18 and corrugated surface is fitted with an exhaust tube 13 passing through the framework 10 and connected to a suction pump 14, which may be mounted on the framework 10. The sheet 15 is first placed on the framework 10, the sensitized sheet and negative positioned thereon, and the glass sheet then lowered on to this assemblage. When the suction is applied the glass frame carrying with it the sheet 15 and enclosed negative and paper, can be raised and held by hinged struts 26 in a vertical position in front of a printing lamp 25.
