Abstract
367,755. Photo-mechanical printing- surfaces. VELTER, L., 21, Hauptstrasse, Oetzsch, near Leipsic, Germany. Aug. 20, 1930, No. 24927. Convention date, Aug. 20, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 98 (ii).] To produce a " lateral surface enlargement " in a print from a negative or stencil, printing is done by oblique light from a rotating lamp or projector a, Fig. 1, the negative or stencil in the frame e being separated from the sensitive plate by a transparent medium. The lamp a may be radially adjustable and supplemented by an additional central lamp c. The print is used for producing textile printing cylinders. To produce a printing plate with batching and contours for transfer to the cylinder (i.e. with contours showing in white) the negative is copied on to a sensitized flat printing plate with a grid or screen. After this another exposure is made through a diapositive printed in a copying frame as above described.
