Refrigerator vans; carriages. - Passenger vehicles and commercial vans fitted with a refrigerating installation have double walls with a heat-insulating packing 29. In the case of a van several compartments 10, 11, 12 are provided, each closed by a heat-insulating door or shutter. The doors i3, 16 of compartments 11, 12 are operated horizontally as shown, while that of the compartment 10 is operated vertically over a roller 23. The refrigerator compressor 6 is operated from a motor 4 deriving current from a generator 2 driven from the engine.
