Catches, gravity; fastenings for windows.-A combined handle 6 and catch 12 is pivoted by a rivet 7 on a base plate 1 secured to the lower edge of the lower sash, its upward swing being limited by a rivet 9 engaging a slot 10. The catch projection 12 engages beneath an arm 17 on a retaining plate 16 fixed to the sill.
