Endless-track vehicles. - Relates to motor vehicles of the kind having endless-tracks and road wheels for alternative use, the conversion from an endless-track vehicle to a wheel vehicle, and vice versa, being effected by raising and lowering the track-frames, and comprises a vehicle in which each track-frame C is raised and lowered by a single, screw-shaft G<1> or other device arranged between the chassis frame A and the track-frame, and stops A<1>, A<2> are provided on the chassis against which parts C<6> on the trackframe bear in order to determine its upper and lower positions. The parts C<6> slide in guides A<3> carried by the chassis frame. The screw-shafts G<1> which are rotated by engine power, engage nuts C<5> pivoted to the track-frames to allow the latter to occupy any natural position during raising and lowering. Instead of the screw-shaft G<1> the raising and lowering may be effected by a crank. Specifications 265,670 and 277,062 are referred to.
