Road-traffic signals on vehicles.-In signalling-apparatus of the kind in which a lamp is turned about a vertical axis, a red glass c is placed in one side of the lamp-casing b so as to point in the direction in which the vehicle is about to travel, and the sides of the casing are provided with clear glass bearing arrows that point towards the glass c. The spindle e of tho casing is arranged before or behind the windscreen and is operated by a handle f secured to it or mounted on a spindle connected by chaingearing to the spindle e. The handle f points in the same direction as the glass c, and the side remote from this face may be provided with green glass. In the case of closed vehicles, the spindle e may extend through the roof.
