Rollers and roller heads.-Relates to underclearers for the rollers of drawing-frames of the kind comprising a board or the like suspended by cords or bands and weights and connected to a reciprocating bar forming part of the knock-off or stop mechanism. A slot x is provided at the centre of the clearer t to allow the passage of the weight-hooks j, k, l, and a notch y is provided for the passage of the front weight-hook i, when the rollers are centrally weighted. The clearer is connected at its central part to the reciprocating bar g by a rod z, which engages the bar by a projecting pivot z<2> and is adjustably secured, as shown, in one or the other of two screwed holes ] in a yoke 3 attached to the clearer, or is hinged to the yoke.
