Abstract

274,701. Siemens -Schuckertwerke Ges., and Kurda, K. Nov. 26, 1926. Polyphase transformers. - A two-window core for a polyphase transformer is built up of two sets of laminations arranged to form two inner frames K1, K2, and an outer frame K3 separated from each other by continuous cooling slots s. The laminations ara interleaved as shown in Fig. 3 at the corners of the frames, and a similar joint may be effected in the longer members of the frames. The frames may each be divided into narrower frames arranged within each other and separated by slots extending at right angles to the plane of the laminations.
