Top and under motions; healds, lifting and levelling other than for-shedding.-Each pair of levers A, B, is connected by a flexible connection such as a chain D to hooks b or other devices attached to or forming part of the lever bosses a<1>, b<1> on which the chain winds and unwinds during the operation of the motion. A rod E, extending across the levers at one end of the motion and serving as a stop, is provided with a cam projection e and a hand-lever e<1> for levelling the healds. The levers are provided with curved arms a<2>, b<2> for straps for the heald connections, or with open-ended slots to which the heald connections are attached. The pairs of levers may be of varying radii on the same motion.
