Abstract

Devices for adapting holes in wheel rims for use with different types of valve stems.-A device for adapting the hole in a wheel rim to take a smaller size of valve stem is formed with flanges B<2> to engage the undersurface of the rim and with soft metal tongues C<1>, C<2> adapted to be folded down on to the rim. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the device comprises a hard metal body A<4> with a softer metal casing A<5> from which the tongues C<1>, C<2> are shaped.
