Shades and reflectors.- A glass shade or reflector, having its outer surface formed with prismatic ribbings 2, has its surface covered with finely-scored lines which diffuse the light that is reflected from the prismatic outer surface. The light transmitted through the glass may be diffused. also, by covering the outer surface of the glass with the fine lines.
