Abstract

268,564. Bramall, E. H., and Bramall, K. B. April 30, 1926. Bags.-Relates to a collapsable shopping bag provided with means for enabling it to be hung on the edge of a perambulator body, the seat back of a motor car, &c. The bag, which is made of flexible material or fabric, comprises sides 2, 3, ends 4, a bottom 1, and a cover flap 5 extending from the side 3, these parts being reinforced by strips 7, 8, 9 of plywood or the like secured internally by adhesive. The edge of the cover flap may also be similarly reinforced. The bag is caused to collapse by folding inwardly the bottom about the centre line 10 and is held collapsed by means of the cover flap which is wrapped around the body and secured to the stud 11<b>. Hooks 12, which may be held in place by an external ply. wood strip 13, serve for attaching the bag to the desired object.
