Abstract

455,192. Holdalls &c. STONE, H. C. M., Pinewood, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. March 6, 1936, No. 6806. [Class 133] A foldable container for shoes comprises a backing of fabric &c. to which is attached by lines 3 of transverse stitching a doubled or separate part 2 folded into a series of open-ended loops affording pockets 4 to receive the shoes. The edges of the material are preferably reinforced by a binding 5 of tape &c. The upper end is stiffened by a rod 6 disposed within a fold and is provided with hanging means 8. Partitions 9, Fig. 3, attached to the upper corners of the pockets may be provided for preventing damage to the shoes when inserted in overlapping manner. Alternatively the device may consist of a series of separately formed pockets detachably connected together.
