Abstract

266,960. Seavey, C. L. June 9, 1926. Spouts.-A nozzle for delivering petrol into automobile tanks comprises a flexible metal hose section 1 having a threaded connecting member 10, preferably flanged at 12, attached at one end, and a seating 2 for a hinged gravity valve 6 at the other, the seating further comprising a U- shaped guard member 3, and a stop member 4 to the lower end 5 of which the valve is hinged by the ears 7. The hose 1 may be reinforced by a wire coil 9.
