Compensating for wear. - In a vehicle brake. the cam actuating arm 26 is positively adjustable on the cam spindle 24 by means of a rack on the clamping bolt 31 which meshes with serrations formed on the cam spindle 24. Adjustment is effected by loosening one of the nuts 33 on the bolt 31 and tightening the other. The rack is formed on a squared part of the bolt.
