Abstract
266,327. Dornheim, F. Feb. 20, 1926, [Convention date]. Platen machines; time-printing apparatus. - A stamp m is fixed in a frame k to which are fixed swivel pins i supported by levers g, which rock about fixed pivots k and are connected together by a handle f, whereby the stamp m may be moved from its normal position resting on an ink-pad c into printing position on a sheet laid on a resilient bed d. The stamp is guided in this movement by gearing comprising segments r, s fixed on the pins i, h respectively and an intermediate wheel t. The frame k is open at the front to expose a clock-face m<1>. and at the bottom where lugs are provided to engage grooves in the sides of the stamp. At the top of the frame a screw p, Fig. 3, normally concealed by a cap x and operated by a special key, screws into a boss o on the top of the stamp m, and, to prevent interference with the printing-hands from the front, a guard v, Fig. 1, is provided.
