Abstract

Thread guides.-In the winding-machine described in the parent Specification, wherein a resilient rod engages a groove in the thread guide and holds it in contact with a slotted drum which frictionally drives the bobbin or spool, the thread guide is of light non-metallic material such as fibre, and is provided with a rhombic tongue 5 for engaging the slot of the drum, a groove 6 for engaging the guide bar and a vertical slot 7 for the thread, a slotted steel grub screw 8 being inserted to prevent wear.
