Kinematograph apparatus. - Film-winding apparatus according to the parent Specification is modified as regards various constructional features. As shown, the cover b of the film box a is provided with webs j for attachment to the projector. The cover carries a spindle k which is rotated bv gears l, i<1>, and is provided with a bevel wheel i driving bevel pinions m on spindles n secured to tubes f by plugs f<1>. The tubes f carry the coil of film and are screwed externally; they are supported at their outer ends by spindles n<1> and plugs f<2>. Sprockets e, g, or rubbercovered rollers, adjacent to narrow slots d, h, through which, respectively, the film enters and leaves the box, are rotated by suitably cut plugs secured to two opposite tubes f. A grooved pressure member q, engaging the sprocket e, is carried by a spring-pressed pivoted member, and a roller g' is provided in association with the sprocket g. Rollers t around the inner and outer walls of the box keep the inner and outer convolutions of the film out of engagement with the walls. The ends of the film are connected together after the film has been placed in the box.
