Abstract

264,243. Abbott, F. W. Oct. 16, 1925. Fastenings for boxes.-In fuse boxes in which the fuses are carried on cross-bars a hinged to the box, the free end of each bar a is latched to the box by a catch which may comprise, Fig. 3, a member h pivotad to the end of the bar a and having a hook m to engage a pin on the lid of the box and a double hook to engage a pin l on the box itself. The lid may thus be opened although the bar a is latched to the box by the pin l engaging the corner k of the slot in the catch, and the bar a may be swung open by moving the catch so that the gate between the hooks j is in line with the pin l.
