Abstract

196,826. Durell, R. C. May 16, 1922. Lids.-In a collapsable box having the sides and ends hinged together by alternate internal and external hinges, the two sides 4 are provided with inturned ledges 12 and one end 1 is shorter than the sides and forms with the ledges 12 slots 13 into which the lid 6 is inserted. The front end of the lid is bevelled as at 14 so that when the lid is secured in place by a wire passed through holes in the lid and end 3 it is flush with the end 1 of the box. The bottom and lid may both be arranged to slide in grooves.
