Abstract

261,525. Automatic Telephone Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Archer, C. H. Oct. 15, 1925. Electric hot-plates.-An electric hot-plate comprising a metal frame 6 supporting a slab of refractory material 1 containing a heating element 4 is provided with a plurality of adjustable clamps 9 extending from the sides of the frame and with radial arms 11 extending from the sides to the centre. The clamps 9 have screw shanks engaging elongated holes in projections 7 in the frame. The slab 1 is provided with grooves 2 and ribs 3 for receiving the bare helically wound conductor 4, drain holes being formed in the grooves 2. A hole 12 may be provided for a central securing bolt.
