Abstract
261,395. Egeberg, F. P., (Assignees of Macintosh, J. C.). Nov. 13, 1925, [Convention date]. Flotation apparatus. - Air or gas is admitted to the pump through a rotor 11 having porous walls. The rotor comprises a perforated tube 12 sur. rounded by an outer cylinder 24 consisting of canvas or other porous material between screens 23, 25, mounted on slats 20, the motor being provided externally with longitudinal vanes 30. The air or gas may be admitted to both ends of the rotor. The bottom of the cell 1 preferably conforms closely to the path of the outer parts of the rotor. In some cases a cell may contain more than one rotor.
