Clips, flexible-jaw.-A strip metal plant support comprises two integral or separable parts bent into ring-like forms and one adapted to surround a stake and the other to enclose one or more plant stems, the part surrounding the stake being closed and secured by means of a flat loop slid along the flat metal strip and over its end. Fig. 1 shows a form in which the plant-enclosing part B of a zinc support is bent into a number of rings or loops C to receive the stems. The part D for surrounding the stake may be serrated at its edges to grip the stake. Both parts B, D are closed and secured by sliding loops A. Fig. 2 shows part of a support in which the stake-gripping part is provided with a socket C<1> to receive the depending ends of a strip bent into ring shape for enclosing the plant. This ring may be arranged so as to project away from the stake or so that the stake is at the centre of the plant. Fig. 3 shows an appliance for supporting two stems. It is provided at the centre with a depending tongue to fit into the socket C', Fig. 2. In another form the plant-supporting part consists of a ring suitable for a single stem.
