Lubricants for machinery.-An anticorrosive coating preparation for metallic surfaces, which also acts as a lubricant, comprises neutral soapfree wool-fat (adeps lanµ) and a non-volatile thinning agent, such as a lubricating oil or a mineral grease such as petroleum jelly. Fure wool-fat, prepared as described in Specification 253,955, is especially suitable. Specification 163,474 also is referred to.
