Heating and cooking vessels. - A device enabling one saucepan to be supported upon another for cooking comprises a lower part c adapted to rest on a shoulder b of the lower pan. This part curves upwardly to a domed centre part e having perforations f for passage of the steam, and is adapted to contain condensed water. A cover plate g fitting within the part c has radial supporting ribs h and one or more openings which may have hinged or other covers. The plate g may be formed with stepped ledges to carry pans of different dimensions.
