Heating and cooking vessels; strainers.-A strainer for use with ordinary saucepans &c., and which may serve also a colander, comprises a cylindrical, oval or other body part f and a concave, convex, or taper lower part a adapted to rest on or within the saucepan &c., the centre portion of the lower part, which is perforated, having a depending flange d adapted to fit the smallest normal size of saucepan e indicated by dotted lines. The perforated bottom may be flat, curved or corrugated, and a loose corrugated false bottom c<1> may be provided. A troughshaped rim h lipped at i and adapted to take over the largest normal sized saucepan k, may be provided.
