Feeding devices for endless chain conveyers; shoots.-Material is transferred from a hopper r to a gravity bucket conveyer a by a rotary table c and fixed guides s, s<1>. The table is driven by the conveyer chains through gearing of such a ratio that the discharge apertures e are brought in succession over the successive buckets. The discharge of material over the outer edge of a bucket is prevented-by a. curved extension s<2> of the guide s'. The amount of material transferred may be varied by adjusting the guides.
