256,774. Noirit, A. July 29, 1925. Knobs, attaching. - Cast-iron knobs are formed with a shouldered shank which is passed through an attaching plate and secured by a split ring and spring washer. The knob 1 has a shank 3 with a shoulder 2 and recess 5 and is fitted into the plate 8. The split ring 6 is sprung into the recess and slackness is taken up by the spring washer 9.
