Abstract

256,538. Hider, G. E. April 26, 1926. Regulating action. - A series of nozzles 5 of different sizes are mounted on a disc or a series of arms 3 which is rotatably mounted on a bracket 2 on the induction pipe 1 so that any nozzle may be positioned axially in line with the pipe 1. The plate 3 can be locked in position by lock-nuts 7. Each nozzle has a screwed end 8 to receive a union 9 connecting it to the steam pipe 10. The arrangement is specially useful for steam-jet blowers for gas producers.
