256,377. Vicary, G. E. July 2, 1925. Capping.-A self-soldering nipple a for fixing on control rods and .cables of motor-cycles &c. has a central orifice b and is provided with an annular recess c adapted to receive solder and flux d. The wire e to which it is to be connected is passed through the orifice b and the end thereof splayed out, after which a metal cap f, which may or may not contain additional solder or flux, is placed over the nipple a and permanently secured thereto by heat.
