Abstract
256,172. Brunzell, B. J. July 30, 1925, [Convention date]. Clamps, eceentric.- A device for preventing movement in one direction of straps, ropes, wires, &c., comprises a clamping lever 4 with a pinshaped end 3 pivoted in a groove 2 in a frame 1, and urged to clamping position preferably by a spring 7 on a pin 6 passing through a hole in the lever, and supported in the frame. Several pins such as 6 may be used, and may be detachably mounted in the frame so that the clamping lever may be changed. The face of the clamping lever may be formed with projections and depressions corresponding to the shape of a steel wire with the aid of a wax cast from the wire.
