Trusses.-A truss consists of a U-shaped spring wire A adapted to pass over the hip in a substantially vertical position and carrying a pad C at each eud, and a single flexible strap S connecting the pads passing around the other side of the wearer, one or both pads being pivotally fitted on the spring wire so as to be self-adjusting.
