Abstract

263,245. Pease, I. M. Oct. 5, 1925. Foot-arch supports. - A band encircling the foot and carrying an arch-supporting pad or spring is provided with means for fastening the pad or spring in various positions within the band. Fig. 3 shows a transverse section of a support in which the pad 9 is adjustably fastened to the band 1 by a device 15, which may be similar to a paper fastener, and is passed through any one of a series of apertures in the band. Fig. 6 shows a longitudinal section of a support in which the pad is replaced by a curved spring 20.
