Foot-arch supports. -A foot-arch support consists of a plate of leather, rubber &c. a, convex in the longitudinal direction on both sides and of increasing thickness from the outer edge f towards the inner edge g as shown in section in Fig. 3. Grooves and perforations d, e may be provided. The support may be attached to a slip-in sole by clips or an elastic band which enters a groove h in the support, or the support may be placed in a pocket or loop in the sock.
