Abstract

Trusses.-A medical belt or truss A is formed with pneumatic pads Band F connected to tubes C of sufficient length to encircle the body, the pad B being arranged to cover the spine, and a suitable valve D being provided for inflating the pads with air. Fig. 1 shows a form of the invention as applied to an abdominal belt, and Fig. 2 as applied to a spring truss. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4383/80, 16086/94 and 7683/95.
