Abstract

119,699. Lewis, A. W. Oct. 11, 1917. Trusses.-The pad of a hernia truss is formed at its lower end with a hook or peak C fitting between the legs and is held in place by an understrap A and side-strap B attached to a waist-belt. The pad is formed of rubber or metal and is provided with perforations through which the rubber or leather under-strap A is threaded. The sidestrap B is secured to the second pad in the case of a double truss.
