Abstract

255,088. Nyrop, A. July 10, 1925, [Convention date]. Trusses.-A spherical rubber pad 1 is secured to a stem 3 provided with a hemispherical button 4. The button 4 is passed through a hole near one end of the spring and the stem 3 is thereupon slid into a slot. The free end of the strap 11 may be buttoned over the end of the stem 3, as shown, or buckled to the spring 5. The truss pad is thus capable of angular adjustment. The pad is secured in place by a plate 8 hinged at 7 having a bent-over part 9 engaging the spring 5. The stem 3 may have a neck 2.
